Satellite Symposium: Coherence of UV-SoftX beams, a contribution to its exploitation
The new generation of light sources, Synchrotron Radiation, Free Electron Lasers, High Harmonic Generation, makes available to the users photon beams with unprecedented space and time coherence.
At this stage, SILS estimates appropriate to held a mini-symposium dedicated at discussing strategies for exploiting these enhanced characteristic of the light in the various disciplines.
The speakers will present, in workshop style, value and limitation of the increased coherence in their own field of expertise. The workshop will be closed by a 30’ general discussion.
Chairs: S. Nannarone, G. Stefani
